Learnings From The Facebook SME Council Nigeria
Hello everyone, I attended a Facebook training/networking session for selected SME’s in Nigeria last week and I’ll love to share my learnings with everyone.
FIRST AND FOREMOST………….
Facebook experts have said, people engage with your content mentally and are actually taking note of your social media updates. Just because they haven’t “liked” your photo/video, doesn’t mean they don’t acknowledge your online presence. So please, don’t put yourself in a box over the number of likes seen.
TOUCHING FACEBOOK ADS
When creating FACEBOOK/INSTAGRAM adverts, don’t target only your primary audience. Think also about the influence your secondary audience has over your primary audience:- Abi Williams (Facebook Expert)
1) You sell luxury cars. Your primary audience is likely people older than 40 with lots of bucks. However, your secondary audience might be teenagers who love cars. These teenagers know the latest car models and can advise their parents to purchase from you. Please always remember to target your secondary audience when next you’re running ads.
VIDEO CONTENT IS KING
Especially on Facebook. Obi a Facebook content creator expert, has said video content works really well in terms of engagement on Facebook.
TAKE OUT TIME TO CREATE QUALITY CONTENT
No rush work here. You need to take out time, use the best devices to produce quality video and pictures. Iphones and Note 9’s are generally good for this. No matter how cool you are, if your content doesn’t represent how cool you are, users will find you boring.
Phew, these tips some of us have heard before, BUT the results are in the implementation.
